He struck the perfect balance between meaningful and fun, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more for our wedding. “Aaron is a thoughtful and talented musician who is equally grounded in his professionalism when hired to serenade a crowd. I first met Aaron at Mrs. Robinson, a cocktail bar in Toronto, where he performed with just a mic, stool, and guitar, delivering beautiful renditions of classic R&B and pop tracks. I was immediately impressed by both his performance and his presence, and went on to hire him for my wedding about ten months later. In the lead-up to the wedding, Aaron was responsive and clear in outlining how he could best elevate the cocktail hour. He provided a selection of songs he could incorporate alongside his existing repertoire, allowing me to thoughtfully choose pieces that were meaningful to me and share them well in advance for preparation. On the day of, he arrived early, set up seamlessly, and was dressed impeccably—perfectly matching the overall tone and colour palette of the room. He truly elevated the entire space. Guests were consistently drawn in, often stopping to watch him perform and even chat with him afterward. He set a beautiful tone for the evening and brought the cocktail hour to a new, chic level. I would highly recommend Aaron for any event—whether a formal black-tie affair, cocktail setting, or anything in between. He was exceptional on all accounts and remains one of my favourite moments from the day. 5/5 stars.”

“My husband and I were lucky to have Aaron Ridge act as the DJ at our wedding in September 2025. Aaron was on time, prepared, professional, skilled, and above all else, incredibly kind. Aaron played a number of styles of music at our wedding including R&B, pop, reggae, soca and dancehall from a number of musical eras, and even played gospel for our more religious guests. Aaron was able to read the crowd and play the exact tunes to keep the party going and the crowd satisfied. In addition to being a skilled DJ, Aaron is also a vocalist, pianist, guitar player, and created a custom mixed song for my husband and I’s first dance... and sang and played stripped down songs on his guitar throughout the evening as well! Before the wedding, Aaron made sure to touch base with us to find out exactly what kind of music and artists we would like to be played and what kinds we didn’t want to hear, and nailed down our schedule to make sure our guests and those setting up the venue weren’t without music. We cannot recommend Aaron enough, and we thank him so much for bringing an stress-free part of our special day. ”
